Test them out with these two games from the Carnegie Mellon University Libraries website. “Within Range” tests your shelving skills by timing how quickly you can correctly shelve a pile of books. “I’ll Get It” analyzes your research skills in a game similar to Diner Dash. Contestants must decide which reference resources will best suit the patron’s request. Let us know how you do!

Familyfun.com tests toys with kids and adults and comes up with an annual list of what’s best from everyone’s point of view. This year the website offers up the Top Ten and breaks down toys by age group for: 3-5 year-olds, 5-8 year-olds, and 8-12 year-olds. They also provide the Toys Of The Year winners for 2005 and 2006.

It’s still in its beta version but it provides a home valuation tool and users can get information about homes for sale, comparable homes and historical sales.

You can use it to send yourself a reminder or contact a group with one phone call that will send text messages either to their cell-phone or as an e-mail.
