From the Guardian Unlimited in England, an article about publishing the last Harry Potter book with recycled or sustainable paper. Did you know that the last book–The Half Blood Prince, was not printed on recycled paper? The initial printing of 10.8 million copies used up almost 220,000 mature trees. Over 15.6 million copies have been sold in the U.S. alone–that’salottatrees.
